Finding the ‘I’ in Infertility

Dr. Talia Hindin, PsyD

Dr. Talia Hindin, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist.  She earned her bachelors degree from Stern College and her doctorate from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.

She resides in Teaneck where she is the school psychologist in one of the local Yeshiva day schools and has a private practice.  Talia teachers kallah classes and coordinates Yesh Tikva’s Fertility Friends program.

Dr. Elana Gotfried, PsyD

Dr. Elana Gotfried, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of trauma and addictions, severe mood disorders, and women’s mental health. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She is currently a senior staff member at Temple University’s Counseling Services and maintains a private practice in Philadelphia.

Dr. Gotfried has served as clinical director and clinical supervisor in a variety of settings, including serving as staff psychologist for a women’s intensive treatment program. She has presented on topics related to women’s mental health at workshops within the Jewish community and works to educate women and families on ways of fostering resiliency and strength in their lives.

Nurturing one’s Sexual Relationship During Fertility Challenges

Chana Simmonds, MSW, LCSW

Chana Simmonds, MSW, LCSW,  is an AASECT certified Sex Therapist and Sex Therapist Supervisor.  She works with individuals and couples challenged by relationship and sexual difficulties.  In addition her clients include individuals and couples struggling with difficulty conceiving or carrying a pregnancy to term,   perinatal and postpartum anxiety and depression, women’s health issues.

Chana is a practicing Psychotherapist since 1974 and in addition to Couples and Sex Therapy has completed advanced training programs in Fertility Focused Psychotherapy, Couples and Family Therapy, Child and Adolescent  Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mind-body Medicine.

Chana is a member of AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists), clinical member of SSTAR (Society for Sex Therapy and Research) , ISSWSH (International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health), ASRM ( American Society for Reproductive Medicine), PSI (Postpartum Support International), Nefesh , National Association of Social Workers.  She has also presented and trained clinicians at Jewish Family Service and conferences in the US and Israel.
